Training at Adriatic University Bar and 3rd QAC meeting were held on 10-12.06.2024

The sixth training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) was held at the Faculty for Traffic, Communication and Logistic, Adriatic University Bar, Budva, Montenegro. The main topics of the training were:

– Homologation of motor vehicles, social assurance, and tachographs in Montenegro.

– Transportation of dangerous goods, legal regulations, preventive measures.

– Transshipment of dangerous goods of class 5.1 in the Port of Bar.

– Lithium batteries as DG.

– Logistics centers for DG.

– Packaging for the transport of dangerous cargo.

– Presentation of the Handbook “Transportation of dangerous goods”.

– Visit of the Fire brigade, Budva with demonstration of a DG accident.

– Visit of TDG laboratory: Air quality monitoring with a simulated source of pollution.

– Terra Taxi demonstration of EV charging.

– Student enrolment plans & Dissemination of the deliverables realized at the mid-term project results.

During the training, the third Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meeting was held.

Training at Adriatic University Bar and 3rd QAC meeting

The sixth training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) will be held from June 10-12, 2024. The organizer and host of the training is Faculty for Traffic Communication and Logistics Budva, Adriatic University Bar, Montenegro. During the training, the third Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meeting will be held.

Training at University of Montenegro, 3rd SC meeting and 3rd PMC meeting were held on 23-25.04.2024

The fifth training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro. The main topics of the training were:

– TDG as an intersection of disciplines and the importance of cooperation in solving the competence labyrinth.

– Transport of liquid oil derivatives in Montenegro.

– Discussion with stakeholder representatives.

– Experiences in transporting dangerous materials at Lukana doo.

– Development of a risk assessment model in the transportation of dangerous goods using ALOHA and GIS software tools.

– Procedure for checking TDG vehicle in line with ADR.

– Visit to vehicle testing laboratory and laboratory for vehicle diagnostics.

– Handbooks content, training programs and teaching staff selected at WB as trainees brief presentation.

During the training, the third Steering Committee (SC) and the third Project Management Committee (PMC) was held.

Training at University of Montenegro, 3rd SC meeting and 3rd PMC meeting

The fifth training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) will be held on April 23-25, 2024. The organizer and host of the training is Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro. During the training, the third Steering Committee (SC) and the third Project Management Committee (PMC) will be held.

Agenda

Training at Óbuda University, 2nd SC meeting and 2nd PMC meeting were held on 26-28 September 2023

The first training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) was held at the Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering, Óbuda University, Budapest, Hungary. The main topics of the training were:

– Data center for disaster prevention,

– Higher education experience in dangerous goods safety,

– Response to dangerous goods transport accidents – higher education training,

– Application of ISO 9001 regarding dangerous goods packagings,

– Visit to OE laboratories and practice – lean management lab, assembly stations, Formula Student OurTeam car presentation.

During the training, the second Steering Committee (SC) and the second Project Management Committee (PMC) was held.

Training at Technical University of Crete and 1st QAC meeting were held on 06-08 June 2023

The first training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) was held at Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece. The main topics of the training were:

– Research projects on industrial risk management,

– A national Ιnspection e-Τool for conducting roadside ADR checks of vehicles carrying dangerous substances: the case of the PROTEAS ADR Control,

– Chemicals Regulations enforcement & inspections – Building authority capacity for REACH/CLP and SEVESO III compliance: A REACH inspection etool by project “LIFE CHEREE”,
– Practice of TDG in Greece,

– Training for modern mechatronic systems,

– Training of persons involved in the carriage of Dangerous Goods by road,

– Development of catalogue of competencies and catalogue of courses and syllabi.

During the training, the first Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meeting was held.

Workshop at University of Maribor, 1st SC meeting and 1st PMC meeting were held on 18-20 April 2023

The Workshop was hosted by the University of Maribor (Slovenia) at Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture on 18th, 19th and 20th April 2023. The meeting was organized and realized by the UM team.

The main goals of the meeting were – according to WP2 and WP1:
– Analysis of key issues for TDG in PC,
– Analysis of key issues for TDG in WBC,
– Analysis of existing curricula related to TDG,
– Identification of needed resources for TDG Laboratories,
– Introduction with TDG established practices and innovations in PC.

During the workshop, the first Steering Committee (SC) and the first Project Management Committee (PMC) was held.
