Training at University of Nis and IPC meeting were held on 20-22.02.2024

A working meeting of DGTRANS project participants was held at e University of Nis, Faculty of Occupational Safety in Nis (UNI on 20-22.02.2024).
The meeting was implemented according to the prepared agenda. The meeting dealt with issues concerning the practical aspects of carrying out hazardous materials transport.
During the three-day training, the following topics were presented:
1.Transportation of dangerous goods and emergency response,
2. Risk assessment of chemical accident during transportation of dangerous goods using ARAMIS methodology,
3. Instrumentation and protocols for flammability testing,
4. IoT for TDG,
5. Transportation of dangerous goods and environmental challenges,
6. Toolkit for enhanced collaboration using digital tools,
7. Collaborative skills development tools.

During the training, the Inter-project coaching meeting was held.

Training at University of Nis and IPC meeting

Training for teaching staff related to the teaching methods and best practices related to transport of dangerous goods (TDG) at University of Nis, will be held from February 20 until February 22, 2024. The organizer of the training is Faculty of Occupational Safety, University of Nis, Serbia. During the training the Inter-project coaching meeting will be held.

Training at Lublin University of Technology and 2nd QAC meeting were held on 14-16.11.2023

A working meeting of DGTRANS project participants was held at Lublin University of Technology (LUT) on 14-16.11.2023.
The meeting was implemented according to the prepared agenda. The meeting dealt with issues concerning the practical aspects of carrying out hazardous materials transport. The participants of the meeting also took part in an equipment presentation. The presentation took place at the LUT car park. A modern fuel tanker, a mobile truck diagnostic station and rescue equipment used by the Fire Brigade were presented.
As part of the working meeting, a discussion took place on draft syllabuses for subjects taught on hazardous materials transport issues. Representatives of the universities discussed their experiences and proposals WB HEIs.
The hosts of the meeting (LUT) also presented the equipment of the vehicle diagnostic testing laboratory and the mobile alternative fuel testing laboratory to the participants. The mobile alternative fuel testing laboratory uses a diesel engine powered by different fuels.
